One dedicated point of contact
No revolving advisors: one person guides you from the first call to the finished company, and knows your case.
From your idea to your first customer: I'll guide you as you start your own business in Bremen. One person by your side, a clear plan, and funding you won't leave on the table. Here, a large part of the consulting is covered by Starthaus.
Starting a business comes with hundreds of questions, and at the same time there's real money lying on the table, because funding goes unclaimed. This happens especially often:
With FOUNDARA you get both: personal consulting with one dedicated point of contact, and someone who knows Bremen's funding pots and makes sure you tap into them in time.
I get to know you and your plans, honestly and with no sales pressure. You'll learn where you stand, what matters next, and whether funding is an option for you.
Together we check the right funding for you, from the State of Bremen's Starthaus consulting grant to the AVGS for jobseekers. Important: applications usually have to go in before the consulting begins, so we sort that out right at the start.
We sharpen your idea, test its viability, and build a convincing business plan with you, including a financing plan and a profitability forecast: the basis for the bank, for funding, and for the start-up grant (Gründungszuschuss).
From the right legal form, through the notary, the commercial register (Handelsregister) and the trade office (Gewerbeamt), to your business bank account: I coordinate the steps and keep the order in view.
You launch with a clear plan and one person by your side. If you like, I'll stay on board after launch too, with branding, marketing and your first customers.
No revolving advisors: one person guides you from the first call to the finished company, and knows your case.
Starthaus, BAFA, AVGS: I know Bremen's funding pots and find the ones that fit your business.

Start-up consulting doesn't have to be expensive, because a large part of it is eligible for funding in Bremen. Here are the three most important routes:
State of Bremen grant towards consulting. Probably the most important funding for founders in Bremen. Ideal for soundly preparing your business plan and concept before things get serious.
100% if approved, €0 out of pocket. For jobseekers, via the Agentur für Arbeit or the Jobcenter. A discretionary benefit under § 45 SGB III, not a guaranteed entitlement.
grant towards business consulting. For existing small and medium-sized enterprises. The application and review must happen before the consulting begins.
To see which funding fits your situation, my funding check walks you through it in just a few steps. If you're registered as a jobseeker, my AVGS start-up coaching is the direct route. And if you're already planning a limited liability company, the legal form finder or the page on setting up a GmbH in Germany will help. Note: funding applications usually have to be submitted before the consulting begins.
It depends on the scope. The key point: a large part is often eligible for funding in Bremen, via Starthaus / the BAB for founders, and via the AVGS for jobseekers. How much you're left to pay depends on the programme. Either way, the first call with FOUNDARA is always free.
Through Starthaus / the BAB, the State of Bremen funds professional start-up consulting at up to 80% of the cost, capped at €2,800 per applicant. You normally submit the application before the consulting begins. I'll explain the process and support you with it.
Yes, that's possible through the AVGS (activation and placement voucher). If it's approved, the start-up coaching is free for you (€0 out of pocket). The AVGS is a discretionary benefit under § 45 SGB III; there's no guaranteed entitlement. More on this on my AVGS start-up coaching page.
You save time, avoid costly mistakes, and start with a solid plan. We sharpen your idea, build a convincing business plan, find the right legal form and funding, and I'll guide you through every registration. Instead of researching alone, you've got one person by your side who knows your case.
Yes. For the start-up grant (Gründungszuschuss) you'll need, among other things, an expert assessment of viability (fachkundige Stellungnahme), a business plan, a financing plan and a profitability forecast, and usually at least 150 days of remaining ALG I entitlement. These are exactly the documents I prepare with you, so your application is ready.
