Your business plan: ready for the bank, the grant and the visa.
A business plan that convinces: the bank, the funding body, the visa authority, and you. We build it together, with a clear structure and realistic numbers.
A good plan decides whether your idea will actually hold up.
Many businesses fail not because of the idea, but because of poor preparation. A well-thought-out business plan exposes the weak spots before they cost you money, and turns an idea into a plan you can rely on.
At the same time, it's your door-opener: banks, funding bodies and the expert body for the start-up grant (Gründungszuschuss) all want to see numbers that add up. We build your plan so that banks and funding bodies take it seriously, and you come across with confidence in the meeting.
How your business plan comes together, with me
First call & sharpening the idea

We analyse your market, target audience and competition in Bremen and the surrounding region, and put your positioning into clear, convincing words.
Numbers that hold up
Financial plan, capital requirement and profitability forecast: we build the numbers so they're realistic and stand up to scrutiny.

The business plan, the expert assessment and the Gründungszuschuss
For the start-up grant (Gründungszuschuss) from the Agentur für Arbeit you'll usually need a business plan, a financing plan and a profitability forecast, plus an expert assessment of viability (fachkundige Stellungnahme). In most cases you also need at least 150 days of remaining ALG I entitlement. I build your plan from the start so it fits the assessment, with no rework. If you're a jobseeker, it's worth looking at AVGS start-up coaching: it funds the preparation and delivers exactly this plan.
First the plan, then the legal form and the costs
A good business plan also answers down-to-earth questions: which legal form fits, and what does the formation really cost? The legal form finder helps you work out whether a UG, a GmbH or another form fits you, and the formation cost calculator lets you cost it out transparently. And if a limited liability company is on the table for you, my comparison of UG vs GmbH helps you decide.
Frequently asked questions about the business plan
Why do I need a professional business plan?
A business plan is more than a box-ticking document: it forces you to think your idea, your market and your numbers through properly. At the same time, it's the basis for meetings with the bank and for funding such as the start-up grant (Gründungszuschuss). A well-thought-out plan raises your chances of success and lowers the risk of costly wrong assumptions.
What goes into a bank-ready business plan?
A bank-ready business plan contains the business idea, a market and competitor analysis, your positioning, a financial plan with the capital requirement, plus a profitability forecast and liquidity planning. On top of that come your founder profile and concrete milestones. What matters most is that the numbers are realistic and add up.
Do I need the business plan for the Gründungszuschuss?
Yes. For the start-up grant (Gründungszuschuss) from the Agentur für Arbeit you'll usually need a business plan, a financing plan and a profitability forecast, plus an expert assessment of viability (fachkundige Stellungnahme). Your remaining ALG I entitlement matters too: usually at least 150 days. I prepare the documents so they fit the assessment.
What is an expert assessment of viability (fachkundige Stellungnahme)?
The fachkundige Stellungnahme is a viability certificate that gives an expert assessment of your start-up and your business plan. It's required, among other things, for the start-up grant (Gründungszuschuss). I prepare your plan so it's coherent and complete for the assessment.
Is the business plan also needed for funding in Germany?
Yes. Whether for start-up consulting via Starthaus / the BAB, for a development loan, or for a meeting with the bank: a solid business plan is almost always the foundation. To see which funding routes fit you, take a look at my overview of startup funding in Germany.
Do you write the business plan for me or with me?
With you. You know your idea best; I bring the structure, the market perspective and the experience from over 97 guided start-ups across 9 industries. Together we create a plan you can stand behind with confidence in front of the bank or the funding body, because it's genuinely yours.
Orientation only, not legal or tax advice. The requirements for funding such as the start-up grant (Gründungszuschuss) are in part discretionary; only your respective approval notice is binding. As of 2025/2026. More in my FAQ.
